Accorhotels plans to completely buyout the Polish hotel group Orbis.

Accorhotels already owned 53 percent of Orbis. But now there´s been made an official offer to buy out the remaining percent with an offer around €442 million.

Orbis is a well known operator in Central/Eastern Europe. They contain over 128 hotels across 16 counties, and is the master franchisee of Accorhotels brands Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, Mercure, Ibis, Ibis Styles and Ibis Budget.

45 years go since their first business agreement, Accorhotels and Orbis have built a long-term partnership. As its largest shareholder since 2000, AccorHotels has always supported the Orbis hotel group to grow in Poland and across Central Europe. Nowadays Orbis has become a formidable leader in those parts of Europe.
